About Industrial Electric Systems

Russian company Industrial Electric Systems was founded in 1999 as a trading firm for sales of electric equipment for industrial use. Main field of company’s activity laid in energy saving solutions for factories and automation based on variable-frequency electric drives.

In the same year 1999, top management of Industrial Electric Systems established first contacts with European representatives of Drives Division of Japanese company Fuji Electric. After several successfully realized joint projects of modernization of obsolete drive systems at number of large Russian factories, in the year 2000 Fuji Electric took a decision, in order to promote Fuji Electric branded products and actively reinforce Fuji’s position on former Soviet Union market, to give a status of its official partner in Russia and CIS for drive equipment to Industrial Electric Systems, taking in to account high interest from Russian side to develop the partnership.

At the first stage of cooperation, Industrial Electric Systems concentrated its efforts on active promotion of Fuji Electric variable-frequency electric drive products: frequency inverters of different series, including medium-voltage IGBT inverters, servo drives and servo systems. By the year 2005 Fuji Electric products took a worthy position on the Russian market of drive equipment. High quality of products and their functionality allowed to gain customer’s trust and confidence.

Impressive results of drives business development, led Industrial Electric Systems and Fuji Electric to joint decision to accelerate market penetration by broaden a line-up of Fuji products presented in Russia. In the year 2006 two new product lines were introduced, first was equipment for automation of manufacturing processes, such as: programmable logic controllers (PLC), human-machine interfaces (HMI), digital thermostats, digital panel meters, microcontrollers, process controllers, temperature controllers; and second line, measurement and data acquisition equipment, such as: differential pressure transmitters, gauge pressure transmitters, absolute pressure transmitters, level transmitters, temperature transmitters, electromagnetic flow meters, ultrasonic flow meters, oxygen analyzers, micro jet recorders, paperless recorders.

In other words, today on the Russian and CIS markets, Industrial Electric Systems offers three product groups from Fuji Electric: variable-frequency electric drives, factory automation equipment and instrumentation. The basic aim of broadening the line-up was to give to end-customer a whole spectrum of equipment that covers customer’s needs in the fields of automation, control and management of production processes. The experience showed that this kind of approach was extremely appropriate not only for equipment manufacturer, who could increase his share and presence on the market, but simultaneously beneficial for end-customer, who could solve his problems appeared at different stages of factory processes by using equipment from one manufacturer.

During decade of active work on the market of former Soviet Union countries, Industrial Electric Systems gained an abundant experience in supply of Fuji Electric equipment to large-scale industrial facilities of the commodity sector of economy, oil & gas, coal, chemical and metallurgical industries. Wide regional distribution network successfully cooperates with different companies from food, woodworking, pulp & paper industries, with companies from machine-building sector, offering sales, service and technical support of Fuji Electric equipment. Instrumentation and electrical equipment form Fuji Electric is actively used by Russian partner companies for their technical modernization solutions for housing and communal services sector. Among direct clients and end-customers of Industrial Electric Systems there are a lot of world-wide known Russian companies and large-scale plant facilities, such as: Gazprom, Tatneft, Bashneft, Slavneft-Yaroslavnefteorgsintez, Norilsk Nickel, Magnitogorsk Metallurgical Plant, Kirov-Chepetsk Chemical Plant, Sibur-Volzhsky, Vladimir Chemical Plant, Znamensk Sugar Processing Plant, Stavropol Sugar and others.

By introduction of advanced automation and control technologies, Industrial Electric Systems hopes to make its contribution to the implementation of modernization program of the Russian economy, increasing its efficiency and productivity.
